En medio de la conversación, el expresidente cuestionó el liderazgo del presidente Iván Duque:
«El Gobierno tiene que mostrar un liderazgo más fuerte. Allá donde asesinen a un líder social, tendría que llegar de inmediato el ministro del Interior o Defensa, mostrar su rechazo, organizar con las Fuerzas Armadas la captura de los responsables y ofrecer la recompensa. El Gobierno tiene que ser más visible en eso, porque desafortunadamente de ese discurso se han apoderado en la oposición”, aseguró el exmandatario.
Luego de las declaraciones de Uribe, el periodista Néstor Morales aprovechó la presencia del mandatario durante el programa ‘Mañanas Blu’ para preguntarle sobre su opinión ante las afirmaciones de quien habría sido su padrino político.
«Presidente quiero hacerle una pregunta de un tema diferente ¿leyó el mensaje que le envió el expresidente Uribe en el reportaje que debió usted leer o le debieron contar, que le dio al periódico el mundo?», dijo Morales a Iván Duque.
Ante esta pregunta, el presidente respondió: «Yo no leo reportajes, Néstor, yo estoy aquí enfrentando estas emergencias, reactivando la economía del país y en eso estamos trabajando intensamente»
Después de la aparente negativa del jefe de estado, el periodista reiteró: «¿Quiere que le cuente que le mandó a decir el expresidente Uribe?«, a lo que Duque mostró su evasiva concluyendo la entrevista y pidiéndole que lo dejara atender «tranquilo» las emergencias y la reactivación del país.
