Alfredo Rangel no es un rostro cualquiera dentro de ese partido, según miembros de esa colectividad, es uno de los más conocidos analistas del uribismo, a Rangel lo invitan constantemente a foros, programas de televisión e intervenciones de prensa.
Dentro de ese contexto, el analista político dio a conocer su tesis sobre la ausencia de actos negativos dentro de las movilizaciones que tuvieron lugar en Bogotá con la presencia de la minga indígena en las calles.
