La revista es el centro de críticas y comentarios negativos en redes sociales.
Semana vuelve a ser protagonista y no precisamente por algún artículo o investigación de gran interés como los que la ciudadanía estaba acostumbrada a leer antes de la llegada a la dirección de Vicky Dávila.
En redes sociales miles de ciudadanos han tildado a la nueva Semana de ser un «pasquín» y una publicación con fines políticos a favor de la derecha y especialmente, a favor del expresidente Álvaro Uribe.
El proceso que se lleva a cabo en contra del líder del Centro Democrático por presunta manipulación de testigos y fraude procesal ha sido la noticia de los últimos días, por lo mismo, Semana publicó una fotografía de Juan Guillermo Monsalve, el hombre que ha declarado en contra del expresidente en reiteradas ocasiones.
«El verdadero Monsalve», titula Semana en su última portada junto con una imagen que muchos catalogan de «amarillista, bochornosa» y de incitar al «morbo».
Además, la revista intenta desacreditar a la exesposa del testigo, quien es una nueva víctima del caso, Deyanira Gómez, agregando: «Exclusivo: Los nexos de Deyanira Gómez con las Farc».
Los comentarios en contra del medio de comunicación y de su directora por parte de ciudadanos presentes en Twitter no se hicieron esperar, algunos bastante fuertes:
