Los periodistas, Gonzalo Guillén y Marisol Orozco, dieron a conocer información sumamente delicada que relaciona al presidente, Iván Duque, al contratista venezolano de mercenarios colombianos, Tony Intriago y a su socio Alfred Santamaria, con los recientes acontecimientos en Haití.
La Nueva Prensa asegura que: «Antonio o Tony Intriago es conocido por el presidente de Colombia, Iván Duque. Ambos concertaron y llevaron a cabo el 23 de febrero de 2019 el célebre concierto de la ciudad colombiana de Cúcuta con el que fue repudiada la tiranía venezolana, regentada por Nicolás Maduro. El evento se celebró en la frontera de los dos países bajo el nombre “Venezuela somos todos”.
En la información presentada por ese reconocido medio de comunicación, también se expone que Intriago se encuentra radicado en Miami y es propietario de varias empresas inscritas en el estado de Florida, entre ellas CTU Security, la que, según La Nueva Prensa, contrató a la mayor parte de los militares colombianos señalados de haberle quitado la vida al presidente haitiano, Jovenel Moise.
Pero ojo, el artículo también expone que Duque compartió con Intriago en Miami el día sábado 10 de febrero de 2018 en un evento de su candidatura presidencial, sin embargo, hace algunas horas Presidencia publicó un comunicado que reza: «El día sábado 10 de febrero de 2018, el entonces candidato a la Presidencia, Iván Duque Márquez, se encontraba en un evento público de campaña en la ciudad de Miami, Florida, al que acudieron más de 1.200 personas. En el acercamiento propio de un evento público de campaña, el entonces candidato accedió a saludar y tomarse fotografías con algunos de los asistentes».
Dentro del texto de Guillén y Orozco aparece un socio de Tony, el señor Alfred Santamaría, «quien en marzo pasado estuvo de visita en la Presidencia de Colombia atendiendo diversas reuniones con agenda desconocida. Dejó registro de su visita en sus redes sociales, incluida una fotografía con Iván Duque».
Al Punto se dio a la tarea de investigar a Santamaria, un licenciado colombiano en ciencias políticas y socio de Intriago en Miami, nuestra fuente aseguró que Alfred es una de las fichas claves del expresidente Uribe en Estados Unidos, mejor dicho, «del combo» del líder del Centro Democrático en ese país, y que además, fue candidato a la alcaldía del condado de Miami Dade.
Un artículo de El Nuevo Herald del 15 de junio de 2018 titulado «Candidato a Comisión de Miami-Dade fue multado en el 2016 por violar normas electorales» respalda la información, pues un fallo de la Comisión de Elecciones de Florida señala que Santamaría infringió regulaciones que establecen límites a las contribuciones de campaña, por lo que se le impusieron multas por un total de 12 mil dólares.
