Por esto, en una entrevista con la W, la Senadora del Pacto Histórico Jahel Quiroga, dijo que celebraba que el partido de derecha haya ido a la CIDH a denunciar sus inconformidades. Sin embargo, también dijo que esperaba que ojalá la Senadora María Fernanda Cabal explicara ante la CIDH porque dijo en una reunión con su partido en febrero del año pasado que no iba a permitir que el Presidente Gustavo Petro terminara su mandato.

La reunión de la que habla la Senadora Jahel Quiroga, se dio el 4 de febrero de 2023, en donde estaba reunida la oposición con personas como el Representante Miguel Polo Polo, el exministro de defensa y excandidato a la Alcaldía de Bogotá Diego Molano, la Senadora Paloma Valencia, entre otros.
En esta reunión, la oposición hablaba de que su propósito era no permitir que el Presidente Petro pudiera culminar con éxito los 4 años de su mandato.
