El representante Asprilla envió un fuerte mensaje a la presidenta de esa corporación, Jennifer Arias, ya que la Cámara decidió debatir una propuesta sobre reglamentar las cabalgatas y no hablar sobre el escándalo mundial que salpica a varios expresidentes.
Durante la plenaria del pasado 4 de octubre en el Congreso de la Republica, Asprilla se pronunció sobre los ‘Pandora Papers’, listado en el cual aparecen personalidades del espectro político y algunos funcionarios del gobierno Duque.
En este orden, el congresista del partido Alianza Verde se pronunció señalando que: «Es muy difícil que se hable de estas cosas mientras pasa el escándalo mundial de corrupción más grave de este año».
Además, Asprilla agregó: «No se nos dieron las garantías para hablar por culpa de la señora Jennifer Arias, ahora viene a proponernos un proyecto para garantizar las cabalgatas… ¿ustedes creen que el país necesita esto?».
Es importante recordar que el escándalo de la presunta evasión de impuestos salpicaría a la vicepresidenta Marta Lucía Ramírez, al director de la DIAN y a la actual ministra de Transporte entre otros.
