Carlos Caicedo no se guardó nada y se fue en contra de la revista que dirige Vicky Dávila.
Una fotografía tomada en Cali en donde aparece el alcalde de esa ciudad, Jorge Iván Ospina, Hollman Morris y Gustavo Petro en un restaurante, alborotó el contexto político en Colombia.
Luego de conocerse la imagen, la Revista Semana publicó un artículo titulado: «Qué miedo, confabulando en una sola mesa, dicen en redes sobre Petro, Morris y Caicedo», sin embargo, este último (Caicedo), no hacía presencia en el lugar.
«Le mando un saludo a Juan David Correa, editor de Planeta, quién se convirtió en mi doble en esta foto. No sorprende de semana, se convirtió en un distribuidor más de noticias falsas», escribió el gobernador del Magdalena en su cuenta de Twitter.
Un día después del trino de Caicedo, Semana publicó otro artículo titulado: «Confusión: el almuerzo con Petro en el que nunca estuvo Carlos Caicedo», dándole la razón al mandatario local.
