El jefe de Estado realizó algunas declaraciones que han causado polémica en redes sociales.
En entrevista con el diario El Espectador, Iván Duque realizó un «análisis» sobre el momento que vive el país de cara a su último año de gobierno.
«Prometí que íbamos a tener educación pública gratuita avanzada en el país. La recibimos en el 8 % y la vamos a dejar prácticamente en el 97 %, con el programa de Matrícula Cero a estratos 1, 2 y 3. Prometimos avanzar en subsidios de vivienda para interés social y somos el Gobierno que más subsidios en esta materia ha entregado en Colombia«, aseguró el presidente.
Pero sin duda alguna, una de las declaraciones que más llamó la atención fue cuando al mandatario le preguntaron: «Los críticos dicen que su gobierno le ha puesto freno a la implementación del Acuerdo de Paz, qué les responde?.
«Mi conclusión es que nuestro gobierno ha hecho mucho más que lo que hizo en 20 meses el gobierno anterior para la implementación del Acuerdo», puntualizó.
Una de las primeras figuras públicas en pronunciarse fue el analista y escritor León Valencia, quien indicó que lo dicho por Duque era «una mentira del tamaño de una catedral».
