Al ex alcalde de Barranquilla, Alejandro Char, le negaron la visa para entrar a Estados Unidos.
En el proceso de renovación de la visa de turista, la embajada del país norteamericano la informó al político que había sido rechazada.
A esto, Char informó que intentará nuevamente realizar el trámite.

“Con respecto al trámite de renovación de la Visa Americana, son cosas que ya nos han sucedido en el pasado. Estamos nuevamente haciendo la fila”, señaló en su cuenta de Twitter.
Según el periódico El Tiempo, esto ya le había sucedido a su padre Fuad Char en 1994, cuando se desempeñaba como senador de la República.
Todavía está por esclarecerse si la decisión de este país está relacionada con las denuncias que hizo la ex senadora Aida Merlano contra el ex alcalde, por presunta corrupción electoral en el 2022.
