Tras esta revelación, el director de la UNP dejó claro que dichos auxilios económicos para combustible no fueron autorizados en la administración del presidente Gustavo Petro.
“Este Gobierno, esta administración no ha autorizado ni un solo derecho para esto. Yo no he firmado ni una sola resolución, ni ninguna autorización para darle esto a algún parlamentario o partido, así que todo lo que encuentran fue entregado antes de llegar nosotros a la administración. Hay algunas salvedades, hay algunas motivaciones, pero nosotros no hemos entregado ni uno solo”, indicó.
Algunos de estos congresistas ya habían sido mencionados por el senador Miguel Uribe Turbay y los propios legisladores entregaron las explicaciones correspondientes, diciendo que muchos hacen parte de programas especiales que los hacen acreedores de este tipo de derechos.
