Desde hace varios días el senador del Centro Democrático viene publicando una serie de trinos que apuntan a señalar que debido a la llegada de Petro al poder, varias compañías nacionales e internacionales han decidido salir del país.
En un trino descontextualizado señaló que Falabella cerraría varios puntos físicos en el territorio nacional, por cuenta de la desconfianza económica que estaban generando las decisiones del gobierno nacional.

Sin embargo, se conoció que la multinacional disminuirá entre un 5 y 10% el número de tiendas físicas en Chile y Perú, no solo en Colombia, debido a la inflación económica por la que atraviesa el mundo.
Además de esto, las declaraciones del congresista, que han señalado de “irresponsables”, dieron a entender que Coca Cola cesaría sus operaciones en Colombia, por lo que la misma compañía tuvo que salir a desmentir en un comunicado esta información.
Expertos como el Abogado Miguel Del Río, aseguran que las afirmaciones hechas por Uribe Turbay podrían incurrir en el delito de pánico económico según el Artículo 302 del Código Penal.
