El representante a la Cámara David Racero cuestionó públicamente una insignia usada por Edward Rodríguez para su publicidad política.
El actual representante a la Cámara por el Centro Democrático puso en una de sus pautas políticas publicitarias que fue elegido mejor congresista. Sin embargo, este atributo parece dudoso.
Racero, congresista por el Pacto Histórico le preguntó a través de su cuenta de Twitter de dónde Rodríguez sacó ese importante premio, pues de no ser cierto estaría incurriendo en publicidad engañosa.
“Representante @EDR_CD, ¿quien lo eligió mejor congresista? tal vez su mamá lo considere el “mejor congresista”, pero eso no vale como una fuente para poner esto en su publicidad. Si no muestra la fuente, usted incurre en publicidad engañosa. Eso un delito”. Escribió David Racero.
Rodríguez le respondió diciendo que supuestamente fue elegido por medios y colegas, incluso publicó una noticia de la emisora RCN Radio en la que se informaba de la elección de los mejores representantes en la que él se destacaba.
Sin embargo, este sondeo fue realizado por la misma emisora en el año 2017 en la Cámara de Representantes y fue antes del actual cuatrienio que empezó en el año 2018.
