Sin embargo, la agencia de noticias más antigua en el mundo y una de las más destacadas Agence France-Presse (AFP) desmintió al mandatario.
El equipo de AFP publicó en sus redes sociales que, durante su discurso en la ceremonia de entrega de credenciales y la instalación del nuevo congreso de la República, el presidente Iván Duque afirmó que su gobierno “sacó” a más de un millón de ciudadanos colombianos de la pobreza económica.
“Pero no aclaró que esto se dio luego de que más 3,5 millones cayeran en esa situación en 2020 en pandemia“, indicó la Agencia en su cuenta de Twitter.
