En medio de un encuentro que tuvo Gustavo Petro con la bancada del Partido Alianza Verde, el líder del Pacto Histórico detalló la importancia del primer año en el Congreso de la República.
La reunión contó con la presencia de algunos funcionarios que ya ha designado el próximo mandatario dentro de su gabinete, en donde se destaca Susana Muhamad, nueva ministra de Ambiente.

El exsenador dio detalles de sus reuniones con César Gaviria y Álvaro Uribe, manifestando que: “En el caso de Uribe fue un dialogo de caballeros, sobre como ejercer la oposición… es entendible. Sobre César Gaviria, él no está de acuerdo en algunos puntos, pero esperamos que su bancada nos acompañe”.
”No creemos que se puedan aprobar proyectos de esta magnitud después del primer año, o lo hacemos en este año… con el viento a favor, o la historia nos manda hacía otros lares”, aseguró Petro sobre la importancia de realizar tres principales reformas, la tributaria, la agraria y la reforma anticorrupción.
Por otro lado, el nuevo jefe de Estado agregó que se necesitará de los partidos políticos tradicionales: “Debemos lograr que parte de la política tradicional decida apoyar el esfuerzo de las reformas”.
