Desde hace varios meses, en Colombia se viene incrementando el precio de la gasolina. Ante esto, los interrogantes de quienes tienen un medio de transporte que demanda el uso del combustible son muchos.
Dicho incremento no es reciente. Desde los últimos meses del año pasado (2022), a los colombianos les ha tocado meterse la mano al bolsillo y pagar más. Al cerrarse un nuevo mes, las noticias siguen iguales: con la llegada de agosto, el combustible nuevamente subirá en el país.

La razón por la que el gobierno del presidente Gustavo Petro llegó hasta esta instancia, que genera todo tipo de posturas, se debe a que busca dar solvencia al déficit del Fondo de Estabilización de los Combustibles (Fepc), que cerró 2022 en 37 billones.
Así las cosas, teniendo en cuenta los precios de la gasolina actual, se prevé que el combustible quedaría costando en las principales ciudades del país, de mayor a menor precio, como se enuncia a continuación:
- Villavicencio: $ 14.073
- Bogotá: $ 13.973
- Manizales: $ 13.957
- Pereira: $ 13.940
- Cali: $ 13.997
- Ibagué: $ 13.908
- Medellín: $13.906
- Montería: $ 13.853
- Bucaramanga: $ 13.734
- Barranquilla: $ 13.694
- Cartagena: $ 13.603
- Cúcuta: $ 12.025
- Pasto: $ 11.91
En la misma línea, el jefe de Estado de todos los colombianos puntualizó que tan pronto se alcance el precio internacional, con el excedente dispuesto para pagar la deuda, “dejaremos flotar los precios de la gasolina con los internacionales, que parecen ir a la baja durante fin de año y los siguientes meses”.
Adicional a esto, Petro habló sobre Ecopetrol y las consecuencias que el millonario robo denunciado la semana pasada pudo haber generado.
