El presidente del Congreso Roy Barreras se pronunció sobre la entrevista del presidente Gustavo Petro en Cambio.
En uno de los apartados el mandatario manifestó que es un insulto las insinuaciones de que el gobierno quiero negociar con narcotraficantes.
Esto con respecto a los reparos que ha tenido el senador del Pacto Histórico Roy Barreras, frente a este punto de la paz total.

Es por esto que los periodistas Daniel Coronell y Federico Gómez Lara concluyeron que el Petro había afirmado que Roy lo estaba insultando.
Sin embargo, Petro aclaró que él no dijo que el congresista lo había insultado, sino que todas personas que han afirmado que el gobierno negocia con el narcotráfico están faltando a la verdad.
A esto se refirió el senador Barreras en su cuenta de Twitter: “No hay insultos… hay afecto mutuo, propósitos comunes, amor por Colombia y criterio para proponer soluciones”.
