Tras el delicado estado de salud por el que atraviesa el ministro de Defensa Carlos Holmes Trujillo luego de contagiarse de Covid19, hace algunos días se dio a conocer que el gobierno nacional ya tenía listo su reemplazo.
Se trata del general Luis Fernando Navarro, quien fue investigado por su participación en el año 2019 en la operación que tuvo lugar en el departamento del Caquetá que dejó varios menores de edad muertos.
La noticia fue confirmada por la oficina de la Presidencia de la República, la cual por medio de un comunicado también se refirió al estado de salud de Holmes Trujillo.
«El señor Ministro de Defensa Nacional, dr. Carlos Holmes Trujillo García, continúa hospitalizado en el área de cuidado crítico, recibiendo atención médica permanente por parte del grupo multidisciplinario correspondiente, debido a la actual infección aguda, secundaria a neumonía viral por SARS Cov-2», señala uno de los apartados.
Además añade «Hasta tanto el Ministro Carlos Holmes Trujillo se recupere y pueda regresar a sus funciones, asumirá como Ministro de Defensa encargado el Comandante General de las Fuerzas Militares, General Luis Fernando Navarro Jiménez».
