El senador del partido de la U, Julio Alberto Elías Vidal, hermano del corrupto excongresista Bernardo Miguel Elías más conocido como el ‘Ñoño’ Elías, condenado por cohecho y tráfico de influencias, así como por concierto para delinquir y lavado de activos, le hizo hace algún tiempo una solicitud a la UNGRD; un cuestionario de más de 250 preguntas.
Es importante mencionar que, desde que Carrillo llegó al cargo en medio del escándalo de corrupción de esa entidad protagonizado por Olmedo López y Sneyder Pinilla, el director siempre ha estado dispuesto a colaborar con la justicia. Incluso, ha revelado información y datos importantes sobre el actuar de varios funcionarios dentro de la UNGRD en medio del escándalo y otros temas en los que se ven involucrados recursos públicos.
