A través de su cuenta de X, el representante a la Cámara Miguel Polo Polo aprovechó la coyuntura nación respecto al tema de adicción del mandatario, luego de ser cuestionado por María Jimena Duzán. Polo Polo publicó un video y describió los movimientos del Presidente, asegurando que no tenía control en sus movimientos.
Según Polo Polo, la mirada del mandatario está perdida y es una actitud frecuente en las personas que tienen problemas de drogadicción. Para el congresista es una situación preocupante y dejó la pregunta sobre la mesa, acerca del futuro del país y a cargo de quién estaba la nación.
“Miren su mirada perdida, sus movimientos y su poca capacidad de control. Estas son actitudes de drogadictos o viciosos. Preocupante la actitud de este señor…. ¿En manos de quien está nuestra nación?”, dijo el Miguel Polo Polo.
Ante dicha polémica, una de las hijas del presidente Petro, Sofía Petro respondió de manera jocosa al congresista y le dijo que dicho video simplemente mostraba a un señor que se veía muy tierno comiendo sancocho, y que el país estaba en manos de este.
