Según los seguidores del partido de gobierno, Petro «incita a los jóvenes a destruir el país».
Tras el asalto al Capitolio el pasado miércoles, Twitter anunció la suspensión definitiva de la cuenta en esta plataforma del presidente saliente, Donald Trump. Según la red social, la decisión se habría tomado al considerar que esa cuenta representaba «un riesgo de incitación a la violencia».
En medio de la discusión que se generó entorno a la noticia, en Colombia un hashtag relacionado con el senador, Gustavo Petro, se volvió tendencia.
Algunos miembros del uribismo aprovecharon la situación para solicitarle a la red social cerrar la cuenta del líder de la Colombia Humana, razón por la cual el hashtag #TwitterSinPetro se volvió tendencia ubicándose en los primeros puestos de lo más trinado.
Según los argumentos de los seguidores de Álvaro Uribe, Petro «pública Fakenews e incita a los jóvenes a salir a destruir el país».
Así las cosas, algunos miembros de los partidos de oposición se pronunciaron al respecto mostrando indignación ante lo que calificaron como «una desfachatez».
