La senadora del Pacto Histórico se pronunció en medio de la plenaria del Senado.
Este martes 11 de octubre se llevó a cabo la discusión en el Senado sobre la reforma política que está en su segundo debate, Paloma Valencia señaló al Pacto Histórico de gastarse 20.000 millones de pesos en la pasada campaña legislativa y de ser la coalición que más dinero gastó.
“Uno oye al Pacto Histórico y considera que hicieron política sin plata. Los congresistas del Pacto Histórico son los más caros de estas elecciones. El Pacto se gastó 20.353 millones y Comunes, 9.300 millones. Esto es bueno que los colombianos lo conozcan, porque aquí les hacen creer que ellos se eligen como por obra y gracia del Espíritu Santo o por obra de sus ideas”, dijo la senadora del Centro Democrático.

Ante estas declaraciones por parte de Valencia, la senadora María José Pizarro decidió responderle pidiendo el uso de la palabra.
“La senadora Paloma Valencia presentaba unas cifras que yo sí creo que el Pacto Histórico tiene que aclarar aquí. La cifra que da la senadora Paloma de verdad es completamente desacertada”, replicó inicialmente Pizarro.
Posteriormente, la legisladora de gobierno expuso que el Pacto Histórico siendo una coalición de 5 partidos gastó 15 mil 800 millones de pesos, mientras que el Centro Democrático que era 1 partido político, gastó 25 mil 600 millones de pesos.
“Esto quiere decir que nosotros no somos los congresistas más caros de este país“, puntualizó. Acá el momento exacto de la intervención:
