En redes sociales causaron revuelo las declaraciones de Uribe en las que manifestó que en esta ocasión será muy difícil aspirar nuevamente como senador, ya que su condición jurídica dificulta su regreso.
En los últimos días surgieron varios comentarios sobre la decisión de Uribe, ya que este no ha mostrado un apoyo directo hacía algún precandidato del Centro Democrático, colectividad que se encuentra fraccionada.
Sin embargo, Revista Semana le dedicó un sentido artículo al líder del uribismo en el que indicó que: «Ni sueñen con que Uribe se va de la política».
Además, la polémica revista agregó: «Pero, en cualquier caso, pase lo que pase, ‘hasta el final’, como él mismo lo afirmó, independiente de lo que digan los jueces, Uribe seguirá vigente en política por mucho tiempo».
