A través de un comunicado que ha ganado trascendencia en redes sociales y que se presume verídico, el Ejército Gaitanista de Colombia (EGC), conocido como el Clan del Golfo, habría confirmado una donación millonaria destinada a la culminación de proyectos de infraestructura vial en Antioquia.

Esta donación, que asciende a cerca de $10 millones, se habría realizado a las cuentas habilitadas por el gobernador de Antioquia, Andrés Julián Rendón, para la finalización de obras viales en el departamento.
El comunicado, que aún no ha sido desmentido por ninguna autoridad, expresa el apoyo del EGC a la colecta pública o «vaca» que se lleva a cabo en Antioquia para terminar proyectos de infraestructura, especialmente la carretera al mar. Según el texto, la donación se realiza en un momento en que el gobierno central estaría imponiendo trabas para la culminación de la megaobra del Túnel del Toyo y otras iniciativas viales en la región.

La comunicación también invita a los colombianos a participar en la colecta, asegurando que cuenta con veedores para garantizar la legalidad de los fondos.
