La estatua de César Rincón, el reconocido extorero colombiano, fue derribada por varias personas bajo la supervisión de las autoridades y del mismo alcalde de la municipalidad.

Sin embargo, la respuesta del alcalde de Duitama, José Luis Bohórquez, no se hizo esperar y fue contundente. A través de la misma red social, Bohórquez respondió: «¿Sumerce hablando de pluralismo? En ese ‘corazón grande y mano firme’, reinaron los falsos positivos. Los mataron en su ‘estado de opinión’. Nosotr@s trasladamos una estatua, y no pasará mayor cosa. Ustedes mataron 6.402 jóvenes, y ellos no volverán. ¿En qué quedaron esas vidas?»
