Esta vez el precandidato presidencial reunió a sus seguidores en la plaza principal de la capital del departamento del Atlántico.
En medio de un masivo encuentro, al cual asistieron más de 15.000 personas, Gustavo Petro hizo el lanzamiento oficial del Pacto Histórico, señalando que: “El Pacto Histórico es un pacto con la historia y con el pueblo de Colombia, por eso estamos para iniciarlo, con el fin de reunir al pueblo y que dialoguemos para construir conjuntamente el camino y el momento del quiebre de la historia del país. Lo que queremos es que en el territorio colombiano podamos convivir sin matarnos los unos a los otros».
Esta alianza reúne integrantes de sectores de la izquierda incluyendo la Colombia Humana, polo Democrático, el Mais, la Unión Patriótica, entre otros movimientos.
En el evento también se pronunció el senador Armando Benedetti diciendo: ”Hoy llenó la Plaza de la Paz, en Barranquilla, solo empezando campaña. Se pudieron agrupar masivamente casi 20.000 personas para demostrarle su apoyo a Petro. Es el único candidato en este país que puede hacer un acto como ese. Los demás son ‘youtubers’, que parecen jugadores de casino que van a cer si ganan rojo o negro, es un azar, una cosa de ‘engañatontos'».
Y por su parte, el senador Gustavo Bolívar aseguró: «Se escogió Barranquilla porque es la ciudad que, según las encuestas, más apoyan a Petro. Venimos mostrando programas, diciéndole a Colombia cómo se va a gobernar y cada vez hay menos miedo, incluso de los empresarios. Hay que ganar en la primera vuelta y tenemos con qué hacerlo».
Lo de hoy #BarranquillaConPetro fue apoteósico. Ningún politico de esta generación es capaz de repetir el fenómeno Petro en décadas.

Cabal, Zuluaga, Federico, Char, Nieto, Jerónimo y Peñalosa se pueden unir en una plaza pública y no llenan como lo hizo hoy Gustavo Petro en Barranquilla, en plaza de la paz. ¡Jamás!
