En un amistoso encuentro a través de una llamada virtual, estos dos personajes sostuvieron una jocosa conversación, donde el brasilero inició diciendo: “Mucho gusto conocerte, Gustavo… señor Petro, perdón. Debe ser muy duro ser usted”.
En medio de la divertida conversación, hablaron sobre los comentarios negativos que ambos reciben a diario, el senador inició afirmando: “Usted está sufriendo lo que yo sufro todos los días. A usted lo deben haber amenazado de muerte, deben haberle dicho groserías de las peores que se pueden escuchar. […] Tenemos una división del trabajo, a usted le mandan los malos [comentarios] y yo me quedó con los buenos”.
Además, el parlamentario aprovechó el momento para preguntarle al brasileño por sus inclinaciones políticas y en su respuesta se proclamó como “progresista”, lo que le agradó al líder de la Colombia Humana, dándole la bienvenida al país e invitándolo a su “posesión” como presidente, afirmando su victoria en las elecciones del 2022.
